After the first leg from Portugal finished-up in Lanzarote, Blue Pepper’s voyage got it’s first crew change - Charts headed home, John and Terry met up with their better halves for a week ashore in the sunshine - and the First Mate arrived to take things in hand!

Sue and I have so far sailed around Lanzarote, where the highlight was a couple of days exploring La Graciosa, the ‘newest’ Canary island, and as I write we are making our way down the Eastern side of Fuerteventura. The landscapes here are truly stunning and the seafood is great. From a sailing perspective the wind is usually either too strong, not strong enough and/or from the wrong direction - but what’s new!!
