Ready to go!
Well, it's been a lot of planning and hard work to get here but we are completely ready to go. Had a very busy last day ashore with a final briefing from the ARC for all skippers, run through of the sailing plan and safety equipment for the crew and a final shopping run for all the fresh food, which all fitted somewhere!
Farewell drinks event and dinner ashore beckons tonight, then a decent cooked breakfast in the morning before casting off around 1130 for the start line at 1300. Then c 3000 miles.
